Privacy Policy
Alchemy Health Collective, PLLC ("Alchemy Health," "we," "us," or "our")
Last modified: September 5, 2026
Alchemy Health Collective, PLLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through compliance with this policy.
This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you, or that you may provide, when you visit alchemyhealthcollective.com (our "Website") or use our telehealth platform for non-clinical purposes, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies to information we collect:
On this Website.
In email, text, phone, and other electronic messages between you and us.
Through mobile and desktop applications you download from us that provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction with our services.
When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising link to this policy.
This policy does not apply to Protected Health Information (PHI). Alchemy Health is a healthcare provider. Information we collect and use in the course of providing clinical care — including your medical history, diagnoses, treatment notes, prescriptions, and lab results — is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and is described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices. This Privacy Policy instead covers information collected through your general use of our Website and non-clinical business operations (e.g., browsing our site, scheduling requests, marketing communications, billing/website account data).
This policy also does not apply to information collected by us offline outside these channels, or by any third party, including our affiliates or any linked site.
By accessing or using this Website, you agree to this privacy policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Website. We may update this policy from time to time; the date of the most recent revision is at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted with a notice on our homepage. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Children's Information
Our general Website is not directed to and is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Website itself (e.g., through forms, comments, or account registration).
This is separate from our clinical services, which are available to patients ages 6 and up. Where a patient is a minor, all account registration, intake, consents, and communications are handled through a parent or legal guardian, and information collected in that context is treated as PHI under our Notice of Privacy Practices, not under this section.
If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 through the general Website in a manner inconsistent with this policy, we will delete it. If you believe we have such information, contact us using the information below.
Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Website, including:
Information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, email address, and telephone number ("personal information").
Information that is about you but does not, on its own, identify you.
Information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage details.
We collect this information:
Directly from you when you provide it to us.
Automatically as you navigate the site (usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and similar technologies).
From third parties, such as scheduling, payment, or telehealth platform partners.
Information You Provide to Us
Information provided when filling out forms on our Website (e.g., requesting an appointment, subscribing to updates, contacting us with a question).
Records of correspondence if you contact us.
Survey responses, if we ask you to complete one.
Billing and payment details necessary to process transactions for services.
Search queries on the Website.
Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies
As you navigate our Website, we may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your equipment and browsing actions, including traffic data, browser type, operating system, and IP address. This helps us understand usage patterns, remember preferences, and improve the Website. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit some site functionality.
Third-Party Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Some content on our Website, including any advertising, may be served by third parties who may use their own cookies or tracking technologies to collect information about your online activity across sites. We do not control these third parties' technologies. Questions about third-party advertising should be directed to the provider responsible for that content.
How We Use Your Information
We use information collected about you, including personal information, to:
Present our Website and its contents to you.
Respond to inquiries and provide information you request.
Send administrative notices (e.g., appointment reminders unrelated to clinical content, account or billing notices).
Improve our Website and services.
Communicate with you about our services, with your consent where required.
Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. Where we engage service providers (e.g., website hosting, scheduling software, payment processors, email marketing platforms), we require them to use your information only to perform services on our behalf.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information without restriction. We may disclose personal information:
To our affiliates, contractors, and service providers bound by confidentiality obligations.
To a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
To comply with a court order, law, or legal process, including government or regulatory requests.
To enforce our terms of use or protect the rights, property, or safety of Alchemy Health, our patients, or others.
With your consent.
Your Privacy Rights — Texas Residents
If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives you the following rights with respect to the personal data we hold about you:
Right to know/access — Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data.
Right to correct — Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
Right to delete — Request deletion of personal data we have collected from or about you.
Right to data portability — Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, usable format.
Right to opt out — Opt out of the processing of your personal data for (1) targeted advertising, (2) the sale of personal data, or (3) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Sensitive data. Under the TDPSA, health information (among other categories) is "sensitive data." We do not process sensitive data about you without your consent, except as necessary to provide services you have requested.
Exercising your rights. You may submit a request by email. We will respond within 45 days, with a possible one-time 45-day extension where reasonably necessary. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Appeal. If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by email. We will respond to appeals within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General's office.
Your Privacy Rights — Virginia Residents
If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) gives you the following rights:
Right to confirm and access personal data we process about you.
Right to correct inaccuracies.
Right to delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.
Right to data portability, in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format.
Right to opt out of processing for (1) targeted advertising, (2) sale of personal data, or (3) profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
Sensitive data. The VCDPA classifies health data as sensitive. We will not process sensitive data about you without first obtaining your opt-in consent, except where necessary to provide a product or service you've specifically requested.
Exercising your rights. Submit requests via email. We will respond within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension when reasonably necessary, and will inform you if an extension is needed. There is no charge for the first request within a 12-month period, though we may charge a reasonable fee or decline manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive requests.
Appeal. You may appeal a refusal to act on your request within a reasonable period by email. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Virginia Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection.
General Notes
We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, which may require you to provide additional information.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
We do not use dark patterns to obtain consent, and consent for processing sensitive data can be revoked at any time using the same channel used to provide it.
We DO NOT engage in the "sale" of personal data or processing for targeted advertising as those terms are defined under Texas and Virginia law.
Data Retention and Security
We retain personal information collected through this Website only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
